Guest Students and Lawyers

Qualified guest students from other ABA-accredited law schools are permitted to take courses for credit at Cooley Law School, provided the school at which they are permanently enrolled agrees in advance to accept the credits earned as a visitor.

Guest Application Requirements: 

• A completed application to Cooley Law School indicating guest student status. 
• An official law school transcript. 
• A letter from the Dean of the applicant’s current law school indicating that the applicant has permission to attend and take the particular classes during the specified semester. 
• A letter from the Dean of the applicant’s current law school verifying good academic standing and good character.
• All letters from the Dean must be emailed directly to admissions@cooley.edu.

Lawyers

We invite members of the bar to take advantage of the law school's courses and seminars and to make use of its library collections and research facilities.

Lawyers interested in taking courses should contact the Registrar's Office at admissions@cooley.edu.
