Document Delivery Service
For a nominal fee, the Thomas M. Cooley Law Libraries provide a document delivery service for members of the bar and Cooley alumni. When you use this service, be sure to supply us with a complete citation. You must also agree to comply with federal copyright laws in making these requests. For additional information or to place an order, call (517) 371-5140, ext. 3100.

The library subscribes to a variety of electronic resources (such as Lexis Nexis Digital and Westlaw Patron Access). Most sources are IP based and available only from a Cooley networked PC. Services
As a graduate of the Thomas M. Cooley Law School you are offered many of the library privileges you enjoyed as a student.
To gain admittance to the library, show your Alumni ID card to the Access Control monitor stationed in the lobby. If you do not have an Alumni ID, go to Printing and Postal Services on the first floor of the Cooley Center, 300 South Capitol Avenue, Lansing, MI and one will be made for you at no cost. PPS staff are available between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday to assist you.
Staff at the circulation desk will update your patron status to "Alum" in CoolCat, the law library's online catalog. Barcodes are automatically printed on your Alumni ID, and this serves as your library card.
With your status updated, you are able to check out any circulating library item, including reserve materials. The Library purchases many items especially useful to the newer attorney.
You are encouraged to contact the Alumni Relations Office if you have any questions or comments regarding alumni issues which do not relate to library use. Call the toll-free Alumni Hotline, (800) 243-ALUM, email the office, or visit the Alumni Relations Office located on the tenth floor of the Cooley Center at 300 South Capitol Avenue, Lansing, MI. Visit the Alumni page for more information.
